To help me focus, I usually sip a glass of my favourite coffee and kickoff my activity. Coffee, I believe.. is THE BEST attention booster.

The continuous drumbeat of noise from email, social media letters, and cell phone can cause distraction to me. If I want real focus, I take myself offline until I've achieved my task. Moreover, at that place are besides internal distractions such as hunger, fatigue, affliction, worrying, and daydreaming that sidetrack my focus.
